The Aileron name came from several years back. As a lover of flying, Ben Powers (owner, founder) wanted a name that reflected flying and the act of charting ones own course. The name represents agility and the ability to make choices that change your direction while having control and choice over what you do. Ben fell in love with this property in 2005. When seeing the land for the first time, he said it felt like 'The ground of my being'.
This estate Pinot Noir is your perfect co-pilot for quiet evenings and meaningful moments. Layers of ripe red cherry and raspberry unfold on the palate, balanced beautifully by subtle notes of clove, cedar, and a whisper of forest floor — evoking a walk through autumn woods.
Guests have exclusive access to a Cirrus SF50 G2 Vision Jet for both arrival and departure, as well as day trips to unforgettable destinations like Seattle, Walla Walla, the California Redwoods, Napa Valley, and Crater Lake. All of these are just 30 to 45 minutes away by air.
